Installing Filters
The first thing you will need to do is download the DLL files needed for using filter plugins, you can get these below:
Right, remember this folder:
C:\Program Files\Jasc Software Inc\Paint Shop Pro 8\PlugIns
that is where all plugins have to go (unless you installed PSP in another directory *sigh*). The best thing would be to go into your PSP folder and find the plugins folder.
If its not there, create it!
Filters come in various forms, some install like programs do, some are self-extracting archives and the rest are simply a bunch of files zipped up with winzip. The install-type ones you shouldn't have any trouble with, they usually detect where they have to put themselves. The rest you will have to extract into the plugins folder stated above.

When done load PSP and open an image or create a new one. Then from the menus at the top, select Effects and scroll down to Plugins.
